The Velder Horsewear Essentials Fleece Rug Polar Stripes is a fleece rug that draws moisture out of the coat, so your horse stays dry and comfortable while it settles down. The stripe pattern gives the rug a sporty, recognisable look in the yard and at competitions.

Fleece that lets moisture through

The outer fabric is a sturdy fleece made of 100% polyester. Fleece absorbs little moisture itself and lets air through, so warmth and moisture do not stay trapped in the coat. That makes this fleece rug pleasant to use after riding, during transport and on cooler summer days.

Fastening and fit

At the front there is a double buckle fastening, which lets you set the rug up precisely on your horse. Two elastic leg straps and surcingles keep the rug in place when your horse lies down or rolls. The tail cord keeps the back of the rug settled, even when it is windy.

Cleaning and care

Brush out loose dirt and hair before you wash the rug. Fleece dries quickly in the open air: lay it flat or hang it over a rug rack until it is completely dry. It is better to skip the fabric softener, that way the fibre stays breathable.

Features

Fleece made of 100% polyester that draws moisture out of the coat

Double buckle fastening for a precise setting at the chest

Two elastic leg straps that give when your horse lies down and rolls

Surcingles for extra stability under the belly

Tail cord that keeps the back of the rug in place

Stripe pattern for a recognisable look

Technical specifications

Outer fabric: fleece, 100% polyester

Filling: none

Waterproof: no

Chest fastening: double buckle fastening

Belly fastening: yes

Leg straps: two, elastic

Tail cord: yes

Neck cover: not possible

Use: drying off after work, transport, cooler summer days

Collection: Velder Horsewear Essentials

The Velder Horsewear Essentials Fleece Rug Polar Stripes is handy to have ready at all times in the yard or in the trailer.

Velder Horsewear: two lines, one promise

The Velder Horsewear Essentials collection is practical, strong and reliable.
