Unless a doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise, the optimal dosage for acute use is 1 - 3 x daily:
Horse 20 drops
Pony 15 drops

For preventive use 1 - 2 x daily:
Horse 15 drops
Pony 10 drops

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum dosage for one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but a reaction may take a little longer.

If there is an improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered in double the dose. If there is an improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means the animal is reacting to the product. If there is a significant increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually increase it again. Administer this product directly into the mouth using a plastic syringe, diluted with a little water if necessary. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better if it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small piece of treat.
