Relaxed contact starts with trust. Some horses feel more comfortable with a mouthpiece that feels soft while also offering enough freedom of movement to dare to make contact themselves. Young horses in particular, or horses that are sensitive in the mouth, often respond positively to a bit that combines calm and comfort with a mobile position in the mouth.

The TRUST Flexi Soft Loose Ring – Inno Sense combines a gentle, flexible mouthpiece with the freedom of movement of a loose-ring cheekpiece, creating a soft, responsive connection that invites many horses to relax and seek contact with the hand.

The mouthpiece – Flexi Soft
The Flexi Soft mouthpiece is unjointed and made from high-quality synthetic material with a flexible metal core. This allows the mouthpiece to hold its shape while feeling soft and comfortable in the mouth.

The unjointed construction distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and supports a calm contact. Because the mouthpiece has no joints, many horses experience a consistent and gentle action.

The Flexi Soft mouthpiece is often chosen for:

• Young horses in training
• Sensitive horses
• Horses that struggle with contact
• Horses that easily pull back behind the bit

The standard version has a thickness of 20 mm. A Slim variant of 15 mm is also available for horses with less room in the mouth or a lower palate.

The cheekpiece – Loose Ring
The loose-ring cheekpiece has free-moving rings, allowing the mouthpiece to move freely relative to the rings. This freedom of movement stimulates mouth activity and prevents the bit from staying in one position for too long.

This provides:

• More freedom of movement in the contact
• An active and responsive connection
• Fewer fixed pressure points in the mouth
• Extra encouragement for horses to seek contact

Many horses respond well to this freedom of movement, especially those that benefit from a somewhat looser connection with the hand.

The material – Inno Sense
Inno Sense is a synthetic material that has been carefully developed and extensively tested. It is free of harmful substances and contains no plasticizers. Compared to traditional metal/steel mouthpieces, Inno Sense feels significantly softer and warmer. Many sensitive horses, horses with a sensitive mouth, or horses with a preference for nonmetal bits respond very positively to it. The material supports relaxation and acceptance, which is essential in the foundation of any training. This creates more length, allowing the horse to more easily seek contact with the hand and creating more calm in the connection.

Suitability
The TRUST Flexi Soft Loose Ring – Inno Sense is particularly suitable for horses that need softness in the mouth combined with a mobile cheekpiece.

It is a deliberate choice for:

• Young horses
• Sensitive horses
• Horses that struggle to accept contact
• Horses that easily pull back behind the bit
• Combinations working on relaxation and trust in the contact

For horses that need a lot of stability in the contact, an eggbutt or D-ring may be a better fit.

The TRUST Flexi Soft Loose Ring – Inno Sense is currently permitted under KNHS and FEI regulations for dressage, jumping, and eventing.

As regulations may change, we always recommend checking the most current national and international competition rules beforehand.
