Some horses respond well to a mouthpiece that offers a bit more freedom of movement. Combined with extra room for the tongue, this can contribute to a relaxed contact and refined communication.

The TRUST Port Medium Loose Ring – Inno Sense combines a lightly flexible, unjointed mouthpiece with a tongue port and loose rings, creating a bit that brings together comfort, freedom of movement, and a natural connection.

The mouthpiece – Port Medium
The Port Medium mouthpiece is unjointed and features an anatomically shaped tongue port. This gives the tongue more room and distributes the action more evenly across the bars.

Many horses find this tongue relief pleasant, especially those with a naturally sensitive or fuller tongue. This can create more relaxation and support a stable, calm connection with the hand.

The Port Medium mouthpiece is often chosen for:

• Horses with a sensitive or thick tongue
• Horses that stick their tongue out
• Horses that need extra tongue relief
• Horses that become more comfortable with less action on the tongue

The cheekpiece – Loose Ring
The loose-ring cheekpiece has free-moving rings, allowing the mouthpiece to move freely relative to the rings. This freedom of movement stimulates mouth activity and creates a dynamic contact.

This provides:

• More freedom of movement in the contact
• An active connection with the bit
• Fewer fixed pressure points in the mouth
• More activity in horses that tend to lock the bit

Many horses respond well to this freedom of movement, especially those that benefit from a more active mouth feel and a more responsive connection with the hand.

The material – Inno Sense
Inno Sense material is developed with comfort and acceptance as its starting point. The high-quality synthetic material feels softer than traditional metal bits and is easily accepted by many horses. The slight flexibility contributes to a comfortable action, while the mouthpiece remains sufficiently shape-stable to transmit subtle aids precisely. This makes the material particularly suitable for horses that respond sensitively to metal bits.

Suitability
The TRUST Port Medium Loose Ring – Inno Sense is a good fit for:

• Horses that need extra room for the tongue
• Horses that respond well to a freely moving mouthpiece
• Young and sensitive horses
• Combinations aiming for a relaxed contact and refined communication

The TRUST Port Medium Loose Ring – Inno Sense is currently permitted under KNHS and FEI regulations for dressage, jumping, and eventing. Always check the most current national and international competition regulations beforehand.
